Arqestry Releases New Album “Pale Blue”

Fresh off the release of his beat tape youliveinadream to kick off 2020, Arqestry is back with a very special project that took years to make. The new album is titled Pale Blue, and it’s an introspective 10-track look into the mind of the Southern California artist.

“It’s about the questioning of my beliefs, spirituality, relationships, and existentialism,” the singer-songwriter/producer described the album in a recent conversation. It’s a smooth culmination of lo-fi, dream-pop, and soul that has tons of replay value. Roughly a little over 30 minutes in total, the project dives deep into raw and uncut emotion in the form of catchy, soothing melodies that reel you in accompanied with experimental elements that keep you immersed sonically throughout.

The beginning of the album’s process dates back to early 2017. He teased us with a couple of loose singles in between, and through many trials and tribulations, the album was finally completed in late 2019.

“It took a couple of years to finish, but it was worth every frustration and sleepless night,” said Arqestry.

If you’re looking for a new artist, Arqestry comes in like a breath of fresh air with Pale Blue. The artwork for the album was done in collaboration with Luca Ferrario and every song was self-produced and written by Arqestry himself. Amid this social distancing era, it’s the perfect time to just press play and digest everything this album has to offer.
