Inner Wave

Los Angeles based indie band Inner Wave takes the main stage for a special anniversary show celebrating ten years of their debut album III. Inner Wave became a prominent band in the SoCal indie scene in 2010, following the positive response to III, and continues to produce the psychedelic sound that their fanbase loves.

Late Night Drive Home is a four-piece indie rock band from El Paso, Texas, sharing the stage with Inner Wave. Since its inception in 2019, the band evolved from a two-person lo-fi project to an established indie band that has built a large audience. The band now has over one million monthly Spotify listeners and has landed themselves on the official Spotify “Indie Rock Hits” playlist with the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Mac Demarco, and The Strokes. 

ALEXSUCKS

ALEXSUCKS is a Los Angeles-based alternative rock band that takes influence from the 90s grunge scene to bring about their own sound. Their sound is often compared to bands like The Strokes due to their grungy vocals, strummy guitar riffs and hazy garage rock feel. The Hellp

The Hellp is a noise pop/electronic duo composed of Noah Dillon and Chandler Lucy. Their latest single, “California Dream Girl,” landed them on the official Spotify “Indie Sleaze” playlist. The duo is set to play a DJ set in the Locker Room stage at Nothing Fest V.

Los Angeles gem Yungatita is an indie/bedroom pop artist who got their start playing with Katzu Oso. Recently, their song “7 Weeks & 3 Days” became a viral TikTok sound, pushing their overall Spotify listens to nearly 50 million. Check out their latest single, “Reckless,” below. 

Pink Skies

Pink Skies is an Oakland-based psychedelic pop band that is no stranger to touring. Pink Skies has shared the stage with Boy Pablo, TV Girl, Ritt Momney, and others across the country. Their style can be compared to Tim Atlas, Magic City Hippies, and Kowloon.

Lavalove

Lavalove is a Los Angeles-based female-fronted band that bases its sound on surf rock, acid jazz, and indie. The band shares a similar sound to late night drive home, Mommy Long Legs, and Dazey and the Scouts. Check out their latest album, Love Sick, below.  

Creative Differences

Creative Differences is a high-energy indie/alternative band from Orange County that is bringing their electric stage presence to Nothing Fest. The band plans to close out their biggest tour yet with their SoCal appearances. Listen to their latest release, Kidboy EP, below.

Don Luxe

Don Luxe is a Inland Empire based band that mixes grunge, alt-rock, and pop into their style. Storytelling is an important aspect of their music, which they expand on with multiple music videos following most releases.

Hecsar

Hecsar is an alternative/indie artist who debuted his first EP, No Emotions, in 2021. Hecsar embeds a lot of themes revolving around the ups and downs of love into his music. He blends a mix of english and spanish into his songwriting and creates a raw everloving flow of emotions through his lyrics and melodies.

Reckling

Reckling is a Los Angeles-based rock band which was started by Kelsey Reckling in her Houston, Texas bedroom. Reckling dove headfirst into the DIY scene, releasing their self-titled album, Reckling. Their high-energy punk and grunge influence led them to sharing the stage with T.S.O.L., FIDLAR, and more. 

Porkboii

Porkboii is a bedroom pop artist from Redlands, California. Recently, Porkboii’s presence in the local DIY scene grew significantly, landing them a spot on the VIVA! Pomona 2023 lineup. Check out their latest single, “She Just Wants to Know,” below.

Grave Secrets

Grave Secrets is a four-piece pop-punk band that is based in Los Angeles. Their sound is heavily influenced by the hardcore scene they developed within as well as the pop punk elements they embed in their music.

Double Wish

Orange County duo Phillipe Andre and Adam Sabolick came together in 2020 as Double Wish and dropped their debut EP, Light Split Sparkle, in 2023. Some notable tracks from the dark-sunshine-pop project are “Pleasure,” “Fever Dream,” and “Sugary Plum.” 

Cosmic Kitten

Cosmic Kitten is a three piece post-grunge, punk rock band from Long Beach, California that was founded in 2016. They have dropped four albums since 2016 including their most recent album Laugh of a Lifetime. They are making a splash in the LA and OC scene.

Fevr

Fevr is an up and coming post-punk/darkwave band from Los Angeles.Their sound is similar to bands like Twin tribes, Mareux and French Police. Their macabre sound will make sure to get you in the mood for Halloween. Check out their latest album FATE below.

The Fazes

The Fazes return to Nothing Fest this October 21st. The Fazes is a San Diego-based indie/alternative band that dropped their debut album, Underground Stars, in April 2020. They paved their way through the San Diego DIY scene and are now making their way through the LA and OC music scene. Some of their most notable tracks off their debut project are “5TH GEAR,” “LA CULPA”, and “BLACK CATS”.

Witchin’ Alleys

Southern California-based band Witchin Alleys is a surf punk band that mixes elements of emo and garage rock into their style. Their sound is similar to local favorites like Jurassic Shark, Mexican Slum Rats and Makeout Reef. They will make sure to get the crowd moving. You won’t want to miss them at Nothing Fest 2023! Deth Coast

Deth Coast is a self-claimed Beach Western Emo band out of Anaheim, California. Fans of Sept, Makeout Reef, and The High Curbs should plan of checking out their set. Listen to their debut EP, Worst Coast, below. 

Starblaze

Starblaze is a band out of the High Desert, whose sound is a mix of alternative, shoegaze, and emo. Bands with a similar style include Israel’s Arcade, Loverboyrando, and Beach Bums. Check out their debut album, TRANCE OF BLISS, below.

The Frick Fracks

The Frick Fracks is a Southern California-based genre-bending band that blends indie rock, dream pop, and alternative into their sound. “Peach Amsterdam,” “Tether,” and “Stone Cold” are some of the noteworthy tracks off their debut album Fruit Flies. Listen to their music below.

David Stucken and the Curse

David Stucken and The Curse is a Los Angeles-based rock band that released their debut album, An Epitaph for Love, in 2022. The band is currently working on a new album that has yet to be announced.
