Starting hot and heavy with “Music That We Love” by Massive Brain Damage, this playlist is truly a love letter to the local punk scene, as well as an ode to what came before; “No matter how you look, no matter what you wear, as long as you’re always f*cking there!”. Starting off with local talents from both Los Angeles & Orange County: Deviated State, Square Up, Unstoppable Force, Fallacy, Rend, Kamikaze Co-Pilot, and the aforementioned Massive Brain Damage, you’ll find yourself craving a few rounds in the mosh pit, which can be found aplenty when seeing all these guys live.

We then take a breather and descend into some of the funner, more relaxed (or as relaxed as this music can get) sing along Punk tracks such as “I Don’t Want To Grow Up” from the Ramones, and “Suicide Girls” from the legendary Cock Sparrer, and then ramping right back up and finishing strong with some of OC’s finest such as Descendents, TSOL, and The Adolescents. Add on a sprinkling of legendary rockabilly band Tiger Army, and the severely underrated skacore band Ocho Kalacas for flavor. These are the tracks that I always listen to on the way to a show, and remind me, that this scene isn’t dead, nor will it ever die.
