Emerson Snowe’s Splatterpunk is a Dream Punk Instant Hit from Australia

If you’re wasted on a Thursday night, like I am now, there’s no other EP you should listen to. A cross between some alcohol semi-reality and pop soundscape, you’ll sit in your dimly lit room wondering where your dream begins and where the songs do.

Frankenstein is the perfect track to drive to the beach, while you yell out the window waking up the whole neighborhood. Though, it doesn’t matter since these aren’t your streets.

It’s the watery synths, the bubbly drum pad, and the danceable vocals. The catchy hooks and melodies, that blend into something you can lay upon.

“Man, It Don’t Matter (What They Say) brings sense of nostalgia and an overwhelming desire to create new experiences. Snowe’s lyrical self-reflection are infectious, they make you want to create new memories already knowing you’ll reflect on later.

It’s hard to decide whether you should go on a road trip with your partner or stay in, making out until the sunlight seeps through the blinds. Words like, “They can try and pull us down but nothing ever felt so right,” will accompany you on whichever decision you make.

If you really want to feel like you’re in coming of age movie, reaching the point of reflection where you know nothing will be the same again (but like in a good way). Listen to Emersons Snowe’s Splatterpunk and enter a pink, mandarin-orange dreamscape.
