Giveon Releases “HEARTBREAK ANNIVERSARY” & Featured on new Drake song “Chicago Freestyle”

R&B artist Giveon is keeping the momentum going with a new single titled “HEARTBREAK ANNIVERSARY.” Produced by Sevn Thomas and Maneesh, the emotional new track gives us a vulnerable outlook where Giveon reflects on a past breakup.

The Long Beach native has been poised to be a star since he was young. At the age of 18, Giveon participated in the Recording Academy’s Grammy U program where he built and honed in on his signature baritone range. In 2018, he released a pair of introspective tracks, “Garden Kisses” and “Fields,” as his first-ever commercial releases. The two songs prompted him to land a deal with Epic, and he hasn’t looked back since.

After a successful 2019 where he released “Like I Want You” and joined rising star Snoh Aalegra on tour, Giveon is looking to make a name for himself this year in a big way. One person who has taken notice is none other than Hip-Hop superstar Drake. The Canadian rapper surprised fans over the past weekend with a new music video for “When To Say When” & “Chicago Freestyle” with Giveon featured on the latter track. Getting a co-sign from arguably the world’s biggest music artist could be the start of a breakout year. If you don’t know who Giveon is now, you’ll know soon enough.
